Why OrderFlowViz

Why Our Pricing Model?

You're probably wondering why we charge subscriptions instead of one-time purchases.

Short answer: Because incentives matter.

Long answer:

Why Subscriptions?

One-time purchase incentives:

  • We get paid monthly
  • Our incentive: Keep CURRENT customers happy
  • If tools break, we fix them (or you cancel)
  • Updates: Ongoing (or you cancel)
  • Support: Responsive (or you cancel)

We'd rather have 100 happy long-term customers than 1,000 one-time buyers we forget about.

Aligned incentives.

What Your Subscription Actually Pays For

Not "rent on software." You're paying for:

1. Ongoing Development
New studies and features. Performance improvements. Bug fixes when they appear.

2. Sierra Chart Compatibility
SC updates constantly. We update our tools to match. You never lose functionality.

3. Real Support
Questions answered (usually within 24 hours). Not a chatbot. Actual developers. We've been where you are.

4. Infrastructure Costs
Authentication systems. Update distribution. Server maintenance.

5. Continuous Research
New statistical approaches. Market structure changes. Tool improvements based on feedback.

You're not paying for software that sits static. You're paying for tools that improve.

Furthermore, please note that catalogue prices can go up in case of high demand - it's a market after all and for us a control mechanism not being overwhelmed (ensuring to deliver good customer experiences).

Why No Lifetime Licenses?

Lifetime licenses sound great for customers. But they create terrible incentives for developers.

The Pattern:
Year 1: Launch indicator. Sell lifetime licenses. Make money.
Year 2: Focus on new products (that's where the money is).
Year 3: Old product breaks with platform update. Don't fix it (no financial incentive).
Year 5: Product abandoned. Customers screwed.

We've seen this happen repeatedly in this industry.

Our approach:
Subscriptions = Ongoing revenue = Ongoing development = Tools that don't get abandoned.

Your interests and our interests are aligned.

If we stop improving tools, you stop paying. That keeps us honest.

Our Prices Will Never Go Down

From our pricing page: "The prices of our products will never go down throughout product lifecycle."

Why?

1. We Price Fairly From Day One
Not inflated so we can "discount" later. No fake sales. No urgency manipulation. The price you see is the fair price.

2. Early Adopters Get Rewarded
Subscribe now: Lock in current price forever (as long as you don't cancel). Prices may increase with demand. You're grandfathered at your entry price.

3. Premium Positioning
Our tools are professional-grade. We don't compete on price. We compete on capability.

4. Budget Shoppers Are Not Our Customer
If price is your primary concern, we're not the right fit. Our tools are for traders who view them as business expenses. Profitable traders don't care about $191/month. Unprofitable traders should think twice if they want to make the effort and how our tools will benefit them.

Harsh? Yes. Honest? Also yes.

We'd rather be transparent than run fake "50% off" sales.

What We DON'T Do

  • No annual "gotcha" price increases (only if you cancel and resubscribe you need to accept the published price)
  • No forced upgrades (you can stay on older versions if you want)
  • No hidden fees (price is price)
  • No "contact us for pricing" opacity (all prices public)
  • No fake scarcity (such as "only 10 spots left!")
  • No affiliate upsells (we don't pay people to promote us)
  • No trading courses bundled with tools (we build tools, not courses)

What you see is what you get.

The Economics (Radical Transparency)

What we are looking for is to return the project costs after 2-3 years."

What this means:

Development time for our tools: 500 up to 2'000 hours
Development costs: Significant (developer time, research, testing, iterating cycles)
Break-even timeline: 2-3 years of subscriptions

We're not getting rich quickly. We're building a sustainable business.

Failed experiments: We eat the cost. Not passed to you.

This is why:

  • We target adept traders (higher lifetime value)
  • We charge premium prices (need to recoup development)
  • We focus on quality over quantity (can't afford to build junk)

You're paying for professional-grade tools built by traders who understand the pain points.

Because we've been there.

The Pricing Choice

For some traders, our pricing is expensive.
For others, that's one good ES trade.

If you're profitable, tools are a business expense. Negligible compared to your edge.

If you're not profitable yet, tools won't save you. But we might have the stuff that gets you on track faster.

We're not trying to convert everyone. Just the traders who understand the value of professional-grade tools.

If that's you, the price is fair.

That's our pricing philosophy. Transparent. Honest. Premium.
