STA 02 - Loading a chart and adding ofv studies

The process is the same or similar with all ofv-products.

A. After the purchase

1. A confirmation E-Mail will be sent to the customer after purchasing.
2. Processing the order will typically take 2 working days. On rare occasions it can take 72 hours.
3. The second E-Mail with have the purchased products attached in a ZIP-files (less likely to be sorted out by the spam filter).

B. Copy the files to your SC

1. Save the ZIP-folder to your local machine (eg. to the Desktop).
2. Copy the files from the zipped folder into the "Data" folder of Sierra Chart (Fig. 1 & 2).

C. Add the ofv-studies to the charts

1. Launch SC and open/activate the chart to which the ofv-studies should be added.
2. Press [F6], [alt] + [m] - the window "Add Custom Study" opens.
3. The ofv-studies are visible in this list and they are accessible by clicking the "+" sign to open the folder(s).
4. For some studies and packages it will be relevant in which order they will be added to the chart (refer to the product sheet in the E-Mail).
5. Add the study to the chart by double clicking or by selecting and then clicking the "Add" button. Repeat the process if multiple studies are added.
